Connect involve.me to Zapier to send participant entries to 1000+ apps and web services. Before connecting, make sure to generate your unique API key on the integration page. This feature is available from Starter plans and higher.

What data can be exported

  • first name
  • last name
  • email address
  • other personal data that can be collected with the Contact Info element (gender, birthday, address, etc.)¬†
  • question answers (Multiple Choice, Dropdown, Image Answer, Rating, Slider and Checkbox elements, all calculator results) - only available with project-level Zapier keys
  • project name¬†
  • amount of correctly answered questions
  • participant score
  • result of the first calculator element (all of them only with project-level Zapier keys)
  • participant outcome (if the project uses multiple outcomes)
  • anonymized IP address
  • timestamp

If you created your key for the organization level (all projects that have their default integration setting "use organization settings") your Zap cannot contain question data, because it is different for each project. If you want to include it you need a custom Zapier key for each project. You can select your project in the dropdown on the integration page and then switch the setting to "Use custom integration settings for this project". After doing this you can generate a new key for the project.

Prerequisites
Make sure you are on a paid plan subscription. Data will be sent to your integration once a participant finishes your project and (if configured) has given consent on an Opt-In Checkbox that triggers the integration. Zapier integrations also work without opt-ins, but you can restrict them to only work with opt-ins by activating the checkbox on your integration setting screen below your API key for Zapier. Please be aware that only new participants are sent to the integration.

Set up your Zap
To use Zapier integrations, sign up for a free Zapier account. Create a Zapier key from the integrations screen and use it to set up your Zap. After you created your key, you must make a new test participant for your project to have a sample available for Zapier to fetch when the Zap is being set up. So just open your project and click it through until the endpage is reached (thank you page or outcome page).

Zapier syncing interval
Zapier will check for new data to fetch every 15 minutes in their Free and Starter plan and every 5 minutes in their Professional plan and higher.

Here's a quick video guide for setting it up:

Remove a Zapier integration
Stop the Zaps on Zapier or re-generate the Zapier key on involve.me.
Integrations will stop working when your subscription is cancelled and has ended.

Duplicated projects
By duplicating your project you will also copy all integration settings that are set on the project level (custom integration settings), including your Zapier key. This means that you might get data from more than one project for a key. This might be useful if you only handle personal data and key metrics in your Zaps. If you handle question data the key should be re-generated for the duplicated project and a new Zap should be created with the new key.
