Free Account Activity & Retention

Learn how free-account activity works and how to keep your account available

Written by Megan

If you are trying to sign in to an involve.me account you used before, but you cannot log in or reset your password, the account may have reached the free-account inactivity retention period.

This can happen when it has been some time since your last login, especially if the account included funnels you would now like to use again.

The information below explains when this process applies, how you are notified in advance, and what you can do to keep your account active.

When does this process apply?

Account deletion is only scheduled when all required inactivity conditions are met.
Before an account can be scheduled, the following must all be true:

More than 210 days have passed since the last account login.

The account has always been on the Free plan.

There have been no visits to any of your funnels in the last 90 days.

If you had a paid plan at any point in one of your organizations, your account will not be deleted or scheduled for deletion through this process.

Will I be notified in advance?

Yes. You will receive an email notification 30 days before the scheduled account deletion.

When you receive this email, we recommend signing back in to your account and following the steps below if you would like to keep the account.

My account has been scheduled. What should I do?

If your account has been scheduled for deletion, you will see a warning message on your dashboard as soon as you log in.

You will also receive the email notification mentioned above.

If you no longer need the account, no action is required. The system will complete the deletion within the timeframe shown in the message.

If you would like to keep your account, click “Keep Account.” Then, on the Profile page, click the “Keep Account” button again.

Click “Keep Account” once more to confirm. After that, you will see a new message confirming that your account will remain available.

Click "Keep Account" once more and you will be good to go. Once you're done, you'll get a new message confirming that your account will not be deleted.

Can I restore my account after deletion?

Deleted accounts, including any associated funnels and data, cannot be restored or recovered.

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. This also applies when an account is deleted manually.
