Let participants select a date, time, or both.

Written by Megan

The Date & Time Picker element lets participants select a date, a time, or both. Use it to collect appointment preferences, deadlines, birthdates, event dates, or any other time-related information.

Options

  • Hide question text for participants — Hides the question text from the published funnel.

  • Format — Choose what participants can pick: Date and Time, Date only, or Time only.

  • Placeholder text — The text shown in the picker before a selection is made (e.g. "Select date and time"). You can customize this to anything you want.

  • Answer is required — Participants must make a selection before continuing.

  • Pre-fill with current date and time — Automatically fills the picker with the participant's current date and/or time when they load the page.

Date Options

These settings control which dates participants can select. They are available when the Format includes a date (Date and Time or Date only).

  • Enable Date Selection — Turns on the date picker. Enabled by default when the format includes a date.

  • Restrict to Weekdays — Only weekdays (Monday–Friday) are selectable. Weekends are greyed out.

  • Only Allow Future Dates — Participants can only select dates from today onwards.

  • Allow dates from — Set a specific start date (YYYY-MM-DD). Dates before this are not selectable.

  • Only Allow Past Dates — Participants can only select dates up to today.

  • Allow dates until — Set a specific end date (YYYY-MM-DD). Dates after this are not selectable.

Time Options

These settings control which times participants can select. They are available when the Format includes a time (Date and Time or Time only).

  • Enable Time Selection — Turns on the time picker. Enabled by default when the format includes a time.

  • Enable Seconds Selection — Adds a seconds field to the time picker. Off by default.

  • Minute/Second Steps — Controls the interval between selectable minutes (and seconds, if enabled). For example, setting this to 15 lets participants pick times in 15-minute increments (e.g. 9:00, 9:15, 9:30).

  • Earliest Time Allowed — The earliest time participants can select (format: HH:mm or hh:mm A). For example, 09:00 or 09:00 AM.

  • Latest Time Allowed — The latest time participants can select (format: HH:mm or hh:mm A). For example, 17:00 or 05:00 PM.
