There are several good reasons to end a funnel. Whether a competition is over, a product is sold out, or simply because a funnel is not of interest anymore.

Manually Deactivating a Funnel

From the funnel's dropdown menu, click "End Now"

Setting up an End Date

From the settings of the funnel, you can define a specific date and time where your funnel will automatically end. You can remove the end date/time from your funnel at any time, all you need to do is click the red X on the right.

Deactivate Funnel on Custom Submission Limit

It is possible to specify a cap for submissions at which point the funnel will automatically end. This applies to completed submissions in a Live environment, and not to Draft funnels or partial submissions.

Alternatively, you can also specify a cap for payments at which point the funnel will automatically end. This applies to successful payments in a Live environment. It does not apply to Draft funnels or failed payments.

Redirect Once Funnel Has Been Closed

With this option, you'll be able to redirect participants to a custom URL once your funnel ends, this can be a page in your website or even another involve.me funnel.

In order to use this feature, you need to be on the Basic plan or higher.

Reactivating a Funnel

When a funnel has been marked as completed, it can be reactivated from its menu dropdown by selecting the option "Set live again". Setting the funnel live again will remove any end date or submission caps that you might have set before.

What Will Participants See When a Funnel Has Ended?

After a funnel has ended, new participants are presented with a default message indicating the funnel is not available anymore.

Alternatively, if you ticked the option "Redirect once funnel has been closed" the user will be redirected to the URL you used.
