Displaying scores can be as easy as “You scored 5/10”, but that doesn’t always cut it. If you'd find it helpful to show scores for all outcomes, not just the winning one, here's how you can do it.
Your involve.me projects can show scores for all outcomes in several ways:
Outcome Distribution by Points
Outcome Distribution by Percentage With Bar Charts
How to Activate This Function
Start by making sure that your project is an Answer-Based Outcome one, then simply click the Score element (drag and drop one into your outcome page if you haven't already) and on the right side of your screen you'll see the following options:
Ticking "Distribution of all outcome points" will add a list of scores for all the outcomes in your project. Alternatively, ticking "Distribution of all outcomes in %" will show the score's percentage for each outcome.
Keep in mind that this is only displayed correctly when there is a score to be counted, so you won’t be able to see the distribution with actual values in the editor nor the in design preview.
To see what your users will see, click the eye icon on the top right of the editor and select the option "Try draft" to try the project out and see how the scores are displayed.
With the Score element, you can also limit the amount of outcomes that are shown (eg. top 3 scores), you just need to set the limit.
If you'd like to display the winning score differently, you can drag & drop in a second score element with the default "Outcome points for {outcome name}" ticked. You can style this element as you like.
