You can synchronize submission data automatically into a table of your choice by using the Airtable native integration.

If you want to test the integration before committing to a paid plan, you can do so by registering for a free 14-day trial.

Not entirely sure how to set up the integration? Make sure to learn about it in our dedicated article first.

Connecting the Integration

You can connect the integration either by navigating to the "Integrations" tab in the navbar or by opening the dropdown menu of your project's card and selecting "Connect" - then just click "Connect" on Airtable's card.

If you're not currently logged into your Airtable, you'll be prompted to do so.

Once you're logged in, you will be asked to grant access for involve.me to connect to your Airtable account.

In order to be able to grant access, you'll need to add a base first. You can either select a specific base you want to use, or you can chose the "All current and future bases in all current and future workspaces" option, so you can change between bases as you go.

Choosing a base is mandatory in order to proceed, as the "Grant access" button will remain grayed out until a base is added.

After granting permission, you'll be able to see the name of the connection that you're using.

Good to Know

  • The integration will send all data automatically (answers and personal data) into the Airtable table that you selected. Submission data is inserted after the last used row.

    • Since this is an automatic process, it is not possible to specifically choose which bits of collected data will be sent over to Airtable. If you don't want certain data to show on the table, you can simply hide the field with the data in question.

  • If you have configured an Airtable integration on a project and you duplicate said project, your integration settings will duplicate as well. You can at any time remove the connection for the duplicated project and add a different one.

Opt-in Checkbox and GDPR

In order to be fully GDPR compliant, you will need to tick the option "Only trigger integration when opt-in checkbox element was selected" on your integration's settings and add a dedicated opt-in checkbox that sends data over to the integration, to your involve.me project.

Here's a step-by-step guide on how to set it up.

If GDPR is of no concern to you, then you can skip this step.

Testing Your Integration

Once the integration has been set up and connected to your project, it will be time to test it in order to ensure everything is working as intended, learn how to do it here.
