You can add participants automatically to your CleverReach recipient lists or update their details using the native CleverReach integration.
Not entirely sure how to set up the integration? Make sure to learn about it in our dedicated article first.
You can connect the integration either by navigating to the "Integrations" tab in the navbar or by opening the dropdown menu of your project's card and selecting "Connect" - then just click "Connect" on CleverReach's card.
You will then be asked to either login to your CleverReach account, or to create account if you don't have one, in order to connect to involve.me as shown on the below example:
Once you have connected your CleverReach account to involve.me you'll be able to see your surname and the email address of the CleverReach account you're using.
Data mapping for the CleverReach integration
The integration will send any collected email addresses automatically to CleverReach.
For your list to accept more data, please add "Custom properties" on CleverReach accordingly beforehand.
In the following sections you'll learn how different data fields are mapped to CleverReach. Once the integration has been connected to your project, you'll find the button "Manage Custom Fields" on the project's integration settings. All fields work with the type "Text".

Data from question elements:
Any other collected data fields (eg. from multiple choice elements, free text inputs, sliders, opt-in checkboxes, etc,) can be mapped through "custom field mapping".
Good to know
Make sure you choose the right field names & types or your integration may not work.
Custom properties on existing contacts will be updated when the same email is sent again.
If you have configured a CleverReach integration on a project and you duplicate said project, your integration settings will duplicate as well.
Opt-in Checkbox and GDPR
In order to be fully GDPR compliant, you will need to tick the option "Only trigger integration when opt-in checkbox element was selected" on your integration's settings and add a dedicated opt-in checkbox that sends data over to the integration, to your involve.me project.
Here's a step-by-step guide on how to set it up.
If GDPR is of no concern to you, then you can skip this step.
Testing your integration
Once the integration has been set up and connected to your project, it will be time to test it in order to ensure everything is working as intended, learn how to do it here.
