By using involve.me's native integration with Flodesk you can - for every submission that is completed - automatically create subscribers, receive submission data and add them to your segments.

If you want to test the integration before committing to a paid plan, you can do so by registering for a free 14-day trial.

Not entirely sure how to set up the integration? Make sure to learn about it in our dedicated article first.

You can connect the integration either by navigating to the "Integrations" tab in the navbar or by opening the dropdown menu of your project's card and selecting "Connect" - then just click "Connect" on Flodesk's card.

If you're not currently logged into your Flodesk account, you'll be prompted to do so.

Once you have logged in, you'll need to authorize involve.me to connect to your Flodesk account. Just click "Allow" and you'll be all set.

Once you have connected Flodesk to involve.me, you'll be able to see the name and creation date of this connection.

Data Mapping for the Flodesk Integration

The integration will send the participant's email and default properties automatically, however you can add more fields to be sent. In order for your subscriber/audience to accept more data, please create "Custom fields" on Flodesk accordingly beforehand.

Once the integration has been connected to your project, you'll find the button "Manage Custom Fields" on the project's integration settings, which is where you can map the involve.me fields to the integration fields.

If you want to receive data for the below fields, then you'll need to create them in Flodesk exactly as shown in the column "Flodesk Fields".

Data From Question Elements

Any other collected data fields (e.g. from multiple choice elements, free text inputs, sliders, opt-in checkboxes, etc,) can be mapped through "custom field mapping".

Good to Know

  • If you have configured a Flodesk integration on a project and you duplicate said project, your integration settings will duplicate as well.

  • When Audiences receive the same subscriber email from different submissions, a new subscriber is not created. The existing subscriber with the same email will be updated.

Opt-in Checkbox and GDPR

In order to be fully GDPR compliant, you will need to tick the option "Only trigger integration when opt-in checkbox element was selected" on your integration's settings and add a dedicated opt-in checkbox that sends data over to the integration, to your involve.me project.

Here's a step-by-step guide on how to set it up.

When editing the integration's settings, you can also optionally choose to activate Double Opt-In which sends out a confirmation email that needs to be clicked before your participant is added to the audience (you can change the content of this email in Flodesk).

If GDPR is of no concern to you, then you can skip this step.

Testing Your Integration

Once the integration has been set up and connected to your project, it will be time to test it in order to ensure everything is working as intended, learn how to do it here.
