Get a Notification Message in Webex Whenever You Receive a New Submission

With the Cisco Webex integration, it is possible get a notification with submission data, on the Webex space of your choice. If Webex is already part of your workflow, then this will surely be a great addition to it.

Connecting the Integration

You can connect the integration either by navigating to the "Integrations" tab in the navbar or by opening the dropdown menu of your funnel's card and selecting "Connect" - then just click "Connect" on Webex's card.

In order to connect the integration, start by logging in to your Webex account:

Once you have logged in, you'll need to authorize involve.me to connect to your Webex account. Just click "Accept" and you'll be all set.

Once the integration is connected to a funnel, you can choose which Webex team/space should receive the notifications, as well as which collected data from question fields (E.g. multiple choice elements, free text inputs, sliders, opt-in checkboxes, etc.) should be included in your notification messages.

You can access the integration settings by clicking "Connect" on the navbar (when inside the Editor) or by opening the dropdown in your funnel card and selecting "Connect". Then just click the "Manage Custom Fields" button.

Good to Know

  • All data that you collect is automatically sent to a channel of your choice as a message notification. It is not possible exclude certain data from being sent. Question elements are an exception to this rule, since you need to manually map these if you want to receive their data in your message notifications.

  • A new Webex notification will always be created for every new submission, even if the same email address is used.

  • If you have configured a Webex integration on a funnel and you duplicate said funnel, your integration settings will duplicate as well.

Opt-in Checkbox and GDPR

In order to be fully GDPR compliant, you will need to tick the option "Only trigger integration when opt-in checkbox element was selected" on your integration's settings and add a dedicated opt-in checkbox that sends data over to the integration, from your involve.me funnel.
