The Email Verification feature is a powerful tool that ensures the quality of leads generated through your Contact Form. By requiring participants to verify their email address before proceeding, you can be confident that the email address provided is valid and accessible.
How Email Verification works
You can find and enable this feature in your Contact Form's settings. Make sure you have selected the element first in order for the options to appear on your right side.
This feature works by sending a one-time code (OTP) to the email address that is provided by the participant.
The participant must then enter this code in order to proceed with the contact form.
This process not only verifies the existence of the email address, but also confirms that the participant has access to it.
If the verification has been successful, the participant will be met with the following confirmation.
Participants will then be able to proceed further into completing the Contact Form, and finally your project. If the participant needs to change their email, they can just click the "Change Email" button and verify the new email in order to proceed.
Email verification is considered the industry best practice for ensuring lead quality. By implementing this feature, you can be sure that the email addresses collected through your contact form are legitimate and not fake or spam accounts.
Testing the Feature
In Draft projects you can enable this feature and test it regardless of the plan you're currently on.
If you decide to publish the project however, you can still test this premium feature but your project will be limited to 10 submissions. You can lift this restriction by upgrading.

How to Acquire This Add-On
Email verification is available as an add-on feature. This feature can be added to any paid plan (except Personal) and will allow you to verify up to the amount of your submission limit.
The add-on is priced at €/$50 per month or €/$500 per year - this will be dependent on your plan's billing cycle (eg. if you have a yearly plan then this add-on can only be charged on a yearly basis).
